  1. In a big vessel, take 2 cups of maida or all purpose flour
  2. Add ghee or oil to it and rub it in till the flour resembles bread crumbs.
  3. Add salt and sugar to this mixture and mix well
  4. Now add the warm water slowly and knead the flour into a tight dough
  5. Cover the vessel with a damp cloth and let the dough rest for atleast 30 minutes
  6. Make small dough balls ( little lemon size) and set them aside
  7. Using a rolling pin, flatten out the dough balls to 5 cms diamter
  8. Heat oil in kadai, fry the luchis one by one
  9. Serve these garma garam with potato curry
